This capsule is a Vegetable Based Capsule (where as our regular Propolis 500mg is a Gelatin capsule). One is not better than the other. We have some customers who do not want a gelatin (porcine) based capsule and therefore we offer a vegetable based capsule. Bee Propolis is a substance collected by the honeybee that provides protection against harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi. Propolis is plant (bark) resin collected by honeybees for use in and around the hive.
