Propolis is a substance made by the honeybee that provides protection against harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi. Propolis is plant resin collected by bees for use in and around the hive. In plants it is usually the sticky coating around buds that serves to protect them from the elements of weather plus from attack by bacteria, fungi, molds, and viruses. These are properties that are useful to the bees and are enhanced by the sticky properties of the propolis beeglue.

The FDA has not determined any guidelines for taking bee propolis products. It is generally recommended that you take from 1to 3 (250mg) capsules daily as a dietary supplement.
If you are allergic to bee stings that does not mean that you can't take honey bee products. However any honey bee product can provoke an allergic reaction in a susceptible individual. If you feel you are susceptible or you experience any type of reaction we recommend you discontinue use of our products and consult a physician immediately.
Each capsule contains 500mg of Propolis. The capsules are gelatin capsules that also contain a very small amount of honey and carub. Capsules are described by the amount of Milligrams, not percentages. A copy of the label has been added to the site for you to view.
We are beekeepers, not doctors. While we can not tell you how much to take we can tell you that most of our customers take 3 capsules per day of the Queen's Delight® which gives you a total of 1000mg of Royal Jelly, 600mg of Propolis, and 1500mg of Pollen. Taking 3 capsules per day will give you a one month supply. We have thousands of happy customers who have been very pleased with the energy the feel after taking Queen's Delight®. For those taking just the Royal Jelly 500mg, many take 1 to 3 capsules per day. That will be a 1 to 3 month supply depending on how much you take.
