Tim Durham Sr. in Memphis Commercial Appeal - August 18,1988.  A group of hives
like you see in the background would be called a "bee yard".  Honeybees will fly a 2 mile
radius to pollinate blooms and get nectar, so beekeepers try to keep bee yards about
2 miles apart.  But of course that is not always possible.
